Privacy Policy

Khan Mobiles Malta ("we", "us", "our") respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, and how we handle it in line with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Maltese data protection law.
What we collect
- Booking data: name, phone number, optional email, device model and description of the issue.
- Device data: your device is examined only to complete the repair you requested. We do not access personal content unless it is strictly necessary to reproduce the fault, and only with your consent.
- Communications: messages you send via WhatsApp, email or our contact form.
- Site analytics: anonymised usage data (page views, referrer) to improve the site. No profiling.
Why we use it
- To provide the repair service you booked and to contact you about it.
- To honour your warranty and keep repair records.
- To comply with legal obligations (invoicing, tax, consumer law).
How long we keep it
Booking and warranty records are retained for up to 5 years after the repair, in line with Maltese consumer and tax law. WhatsApp/email conversations are kept for up to 12 months unless required for a warranty claim.
Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, and you may object to processing. Email info@khanmobiles.com and we will respond within 30 days. You may also lodge a complaint with the Information and Data Protection Commissioner (IDPC) Malta.
Data sharing
We do not sell your data. We may share it only with:
- Payment processors, to complete a transaction.
- Manufacturer/parts suppliers, only when necessary for a warranty claim.
- Public authorities, where legally required.
Security
Your data is stored on secure EU-based infrastructure with encryption in transit and at rest. Access is limited to authorised Khan Mobiles staff.
